Worked here for a year and a half. what a waste

Ownership treats you like garbage, they show no interest in actually running the business, never around to ask questions or provide the necessary knowledge/ training to complete your job, When they are around they do nothing but complain about all the things that they aren't around to help you fix.

Best job Ive ever had!

I spent quite a few years at Water Depot and even cried when I left! The boss is incrediable and so easy to gt along with. The customers are great! You get to learn alot about the water business and apply it to everyday work. Would work here again

-Lack of leadership
-They provide little to no training
-no 'real' plan in place by the executive team...often they are reacting instead of being proactive
-'Old School approach to dealing with employees
-Strong support staff
-Overall, the franchisees are great to work with
-No plan in place to grow the company

It was a laid back fun place to work until it changed hands and the current owner did everything he could to save a penny and made sure the store crashed and burned.
Pros
Almost always worked alone, laid back atmosphere.
Cons
Owner was so self absorbed, He couldn't remember employees names, Despite them being there for years and wearing name tags.

This is one of the best sales jobs to ever obtain.
Work as a sales clerk as well as a cashier (Current Employee) –  Kanata, ON27 September 2017
This job taught me an extreme amount about reverse osmosis and alkaline water. I learned about iron filtration units and water softeners. I sold merchandise in the store such as water coolers, softeners, iron blasters, and reverse osmosis systems.

Friendly staff, trying to be as knowledgeable as possible but are certainly not given the time and training material to do so. I do not recommend working for a company who is discriminates against older applicants with manageable health issues, completely capable of doing every task that is asked of them.

Working in the store with customers and going to their homes to test water and find their needs to purify their water.
In the area we live in everyone needs a water softner, it was just basically working out the best product or price for the client.
