Stop making drivers go to the office to hand in paperwork. Put a drop box at the shop instead, seeing as the driver is at the shop everyday anyways to get fuel. Also, if picking trailer paperwork up at the office is required, put the paperwork in a bin that the drivers can access. Too much time waisted standing there waiting for a dispatcher to become available, so they can hand it to you.

Dispatch plays games. No extras on shifts that you are lucky enough to start early. Then force extras on shifts when you have a late start. They ALWAYS load you up on Fridays. Really sucks when you have to work Saturday and they make it so you start 4 hours later than normal on Friday, with extras added. Putting you in a position to move your Saturday to Sunday, since you are too tired to come in Saturday. Resulting in ruining your entire weekend. Happens almost every 6 day work week.

Start watching the problem children/ employees as the rest of the system is well set up and office management are all great to deal with.. sadly fellow workers make stress level impossible to cope with for long terms

10-12 on average with the possibility of houring out, being a real possibility. Dispatchers don't care.

It's all over the place. Some days they are flexible, other days they will force extras. They can also change their minds on vacation days they approved, and tell you they are revoking those days you had been told were good to take off. So if you had plans set, you will have to cancel or call in sick. If you call in sick (cuz you had plans obviously), you will be penalized.

You have a set time but it means nothing. I could start at 2pm one day and the next day could be 8pm. On days you start much later than normal, they will still force extras on you, pushing your mind/body way past its limits. Which also results in your switch partner now starting much later, then you will also be starting much later again on your next shift. It just keeps compiling through the week. By the time Wednesday comes around, you are completely drained, yet you still have 2 more days to go and possibly even a Saturday. Oh and just a heads up, Mondays and Fridays (the 2 days of the week you DON'T wanna start late or have to put 14 hrs in) will be the 2 days you can guarantee, that dispatch will work you to the max. Yet the company can't figure out why they have a problem with people calling in sick all the time...
