This was a good job at the time. But it didn't fit me. Shifts can be constant, for me they were. Raises were poor and showed in peoples job performance.
Pros
10% discount on MOST things
Cons
Management.

A typical day at walmart would be going in, and unloading a merchandise truck with minimal problems. I learned how to make huge pallets of merchandise to be distributed through out the store for assosiates to stalk shelves with. I also learned how to scan merchandise into the store system, and how to deal with customers and there questions. Most of my co-workers were more then friendly and good guys to work with. The hardest part of the job was dealing with unexpected truck loads of merchandise, and finding some where to put it all. And the most enjoyable part of working there was the 10% discount you get from working for them.
Pros
Profit Sharing
Cons
Had to work in a dusty cold back room
