Management is evil people, They come for you everytime. Bulling in the workplace by management everyday. If you dont fit in with them your out. If your not from this town your automatically watched or out. Pretty much condemned, if you have a disability because they dont care. Open door policy is a joke. They talk about you behind your back. This store is a joke.I Have worked for another store and never treated so badly in my life like the one in Trail.
Personal feeling of accomplishment

Overall the pay is fair, but the overall lifting and work/life balance is not the greatest as you are always extremely tired after work, as well as having a high risk of injury while working there. This is in large part because of the poor management. If you don't mind these things, you can definitely make good money as there is always overtime available and hours to make up missed days.
I work for the cold storage Warehouse at Walmart. If you do not like working in the cold this is not the place for you you will have to work in a freezer for some shifts some shifts you will be in the cooler which is cold but not as cold as a freezer. It's a lot of heavy lifting but you are compensated for all that work. The stuff is pretty friendly and is also more than willing to teach you.

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Things look hopeful at first, but it will only take an average person approximately one pay period to regret taking the warehouse job. When you apply, many aspects of company expectations and your typical work day are left unexplained. More confusion to come. So much is dysfunctional in the environment that a novel may be required to detail why you should work anywhere else. Point form is required: - You will be driven by floor management (Team Leaders) to work as quickly as possible. A robotic headset/production monitoring system shall be glued to your head telling you exactly what to do each second you are on the clock. If you disable the system to ask a question or attend the washroom, it is known and recorded. Kind of like a never-ending performance review and security file combined... they may use it against you at any time to drive you harder. See next point. - Outrageous flirters and attractive persons are never called to task, and are given the easiest runs and least physical jobs. This group is also trained on mechanical lifting equipment before all others. Their backs last much longer. This group, often very recent hires, are easily granted favours. Once promoted, though paid the same, they may become very unfriendly, reinforcing a low-end class system you would not have imagined upon signing up. Daily task assignments by TL’s show patterns similar to when teams were picked by the Cool Kids in high school gym class. Guess which team was going to lose at dodgeball? - You are not guaranteed hours. They apply a piece-picking minimum to compel you to complete - more...
Easy to be hired with successful criminal recorded check
As per review: Gate on the way out does not open fast enough
Warehouse associate at Walmart Logistic. Performed all warehouse laborer duties including picking, packing, counting, record keeping, and maintaining a clean area. Consistently maintained picking/packing speeds in the 95th percentile. Picked all orders with 100% accuracy despite high speeds. Maintained a clean work area, meeting 98% of inspection requirements.
My typical day at work in walmart was pretty good. the environment is positive. all the co-workers were really supportive and helpful. moreover, working there was quite fun as well. you enjoy being there and even every single day, you learn something new.
I would not advise this work place, you will always feel like you never have a job even if you pass the probation, management is horrible they treat employees unbelievably bad and nothing is ever done about it when asked for help. their benefits are good and pay at the warehouses if your hired on by Walmart and not drake or ect.. is good, but the managers/TL's are unbelievably disrespectful!. I would never work for a Walmart company again any where near the Cornwall area.
