Meh an ok place to work if you are looking for a lax job where no one really cares what you do. It's good in the sense that management doesn't helicopter and you are responsible for your own work. Not great but not terrible, it is what you make it here

Most associates are easy to get along with and the work isn't very difficult, the management team is easy to talk to for the most part and very few issues when you need something resolved

Job is fast paced and hard on your feet and back. CSMs are all good to work with. I find that although it is constantly too busy, I enjoy it. Management is easily approachable.

There is major favourites and you get made to feel like your not doing a good enough job or being fast enough if you ask for help. I’ve come to learn that doing your job properly doesn’t matter . You get praise for doing your job wrong and fast instead of right and a bit slower . Most of the time I love going to work but 50% of the time I know it’s going to be a bad shift when I see certain people are working
Pros
Discount
Cons
Favouritism, no consequences for doing your job wrong

Stocking shelves at night in Tillsonburg is dreadful. Managers and support managers are miserable and grumpy and they look down on you. It was good when the main night manager went to Lowe's. Im still waiting for the other one to quit too.Only work here if you are desperate.

Walmart fires full time employees for no provided reason and replaces them with part time employees. They do not care about their employees or their employees lives.

My work environment was great but I do my best to make sure everyone around me is in a good mood, and anyone that was just too moody I did my very best to stay clear

Good environment with good people but work can get hectic. Lacking on work/life balance as shifts are not consistent. Dealing with customers has its charm if your that type of person.

I went into work every night, i enjoyed the environment, i enjoyed my co workers, i also enjoyed being on my own in the basement. The work was well explained and I caught on quickly. I never had a complaint about my supervisors and would work there again if the opportunity arose and I was without a job.

Walmart presented me with a variety of work experience, largely due to the fact that they are consistently understaffed. The company touts respect for the individual, but the fact is that the management is largely a bunch of people that have come to Walmart as teens and "grown" with the company and haven't attained the educational experience to supervise their staff effectively. Everybody is miserable.
Pros
varied work experience
Cons
chaos

A great company with core values but along the way through the layers of management the little people(associates) get left behind or forgotten. There is growth within the company but it comes with a great cost. You not only have to strive and put in all the hours and the hard work but have to learn to stamp on a few toes and throw a few people under the bus. (I haven't done that yet..maybe that's why i'm still just a regular associate)The company has a lot to offer the question is whether you're willing to sell you're soul to the retail devil?
Pros
regular events and open communication
Cons
lack of accountability and recognition
