on your feet to long
There is major favourites and you get made to feel like your not doing a good enough job or being fast enough if you ask for help. I’ve come to learn that doing your job properly doesn’t matter . You get praise for doing your job wrong and fast instead of right and a bit slower . Most of the time I love going to work but 50% of the time I know it’s going to be a bad shift when I see certain people are working
Favouritism, no consequences for doing your job wrong
Stocking shelves at night in Tillsonburg is dreadful. Managers and support managers are miserable and grumpy and they look down on you. It was good when the main night manager went to Lowe's. Im still waiting for the other one to quit too.Only work here if you are desperate.
Walmart fires full time employees for no provided reason and replaces them with part time employees. They do not care about their employees or their employees lives.
terrible unpredictable hours, horrible management
pros- helping the customers getting to know the various departments I enjoyed working with numbers while in the office I enjoyed the people I worked with cons- working Sundays tough to get full time hrs.

I went into work every night, i enjoyed the environment, i enjoyed my co workers, i also enjoyed being on my own in the basement. The work was well explained and I caught on quickly. I never had a complaint about my supervisors and would work there again if the opportunity arose and I was without a job.
Walmart presented me with a variety of work experience, largely due to the fact that they are consistently understaffed. The company touts respect for the individual, but the fact is that the management is largely a bunch of people that have come to Walmart as teens and "grown" with the company and haven't attained the educational experience to supervise their staff effectively. Everybody is miserable.
varied work experience
A great company with core values but along the way through the layers of management the little people(associates) get left behind or forgotten. There is growth within the company but it comes with a great cost. You not only have to strive and put in all the hours and the hard work but have to learn to stamp on a few toes and throw a few people under the bus. (I haven't done that yet..maybe that's why i'm still just a regular associate)The company has a lot to offer the question is whether you're willing to sell you're soul to the retail devil?
regular events and open communication
lack of accountability and recognition
