Short of staff every time and you ended up doing extra work that needs to be done in a night in fast paced, always go home tired and exhausted. Pay wise is not really good, different people has different hourle rates, but you do the same job. When they decrease your hours of work they don’t inform you they just do it for their own interest
I was hired for part time, worked an average of 40-50 hours a week. Told them my availability was Monday to Friday, never had a weekend off. Asked for adjusted work hours for school, was denied those hours. Came back after surgery, incision opened slightly, didn’t complain, I just asked where gauze was. I was sent home, told not to come back until I was 100% better, manager wouldn’t sign off on work adjustment plan, and was told I had to fill out multiple forms and get multiple drs notes, none of which I was compensated for. If the manager had an issue with you she would get CMs to tell you because she was too much of a coward to do it herself.
Alright pay, mostly cool co-workers
Long hours, complaining customers, poor Managment

I was a shoe manager when I finished with walmart I was responsible for taking care of the entire shoe department and the four employees under me I did scheduing and training putting out stock changing prices inventory helping customers and supporting the stores management team with running the store. management was alright at first but then the decided to down size and certain departments were phased out. one of those departments was shoes the culture at walmart was good everyone helped everyone the hardest part of the job was triing to find a balance between stocking my department and helping to run the store. I loved working in shoes and I the people I worked with.
we had saftey lunches and a social commitee so we had fun with those events that they organized
unrealistic expectations from the new management

good place to work
wish i could stay longer
A variety of experience and overall knowledge for customer service, and job duties. Mostly friendly associates. Great for part time and a first time job, horrible for making a living as the pay is disgustingly low.
Good Culture, lots of experience
Poor management, low salary
Working day to day with customers and computers helped me keep my brain sharp, and allowed me to help create memories for the customers by giving them the best over all experience I could give them while taking their photos. A typical day of work would consist of dealing with cash, making passport photos, doing a photo shoot or two, designing and editing photos, and making customers happy. I worked by myself, or with my manager. The hardest part of the job was keeping in remembrance all the different program functions, but my manager was quite proud of me for keeping all I learned. The most enjoyable part of my time there was making people smile, whether they be babies, young children, adults, or seniors. Impacting their day impacted mine!
Good benefits, great co-workers
Only a few employees, but that wasn't too bad.
swipe in and go help people in their understanding of the electronic products, and help them find what they are looking for, i learned some of thedifferences with tvs and other electonic products, and how to deal with angry people, managers weren't good at all, they were never around when needed, they never scheduled accordingly, they always went back on policies, and they never backed up associates when we tried to explain to a customer why we couldn't do something, the hardest part was getting scheduled alone for 8 hours on a holiday or a busy day with no help, best part was seeing everyone i knew at work and people i know come in while i worked
people i know always around
management sucked and bad scheduling
