Worked overnights as well as afternoons. Like any minimum wage job you work hard and get paid. Nobody is ever leaving here a millionaire. It has pros as well as cons. It will help support u through college or high school. Good as well as bad managers. Customers can be challenging, also be a joy as well. Not the worst job and definitely not the worst pay either. Benefits are available and usually good at following availability.
Pros
Benefits, inclusion and discount card
Cons
Hard work and can be long hours

Walmart is a good place to work and they work with you with scheduling. Management is always there when needed, whether it's personal or work related.

Good for students and people just taking a leap year. Crazy busy all the time, no down time, It gets tiring, get ready for LOTS of coffee. Management is cold and dismissive.

The community was the best part for me, I worked with many friends of mine and created friendships along the way. It is an easy job for teenagers but can be stressful at times. Like any job, it is what you make it.
Pros
The potential of free food.
Cons
The hours can be long and people can be very rude and mean to you.

100% the worse store to work in. Management treats you like trash. Work until 10 or 11pm every night of the week including Sunday nights. No weekends off even if you request them. Don't accommodate anything outside of the store. Don't have a personal life because they will quickly take that away. No arrest are allowed at this store no more. If you have kids, well i feel sorry for you because you won't see them again as they don't care about what they have going on and if you need time off for it. They threaten your job security if you question them on anything. Do not and I repeat DO NOT apply here. you will hate it from the moment you start.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Too many to write

It was obvious early on why Walmart seems to always be hiring. At first the job culture seemed very healthy and positive, eventually it became more and more apparent that the employees there were still there despite the culture, not because of it. The store is poorly managed with those in the positions of the most responsibility seldom taking care of said responsibilities and the burden of productivity falling on other managers who are already busy enough with their own work. It seems that the higher up in the management chain you get at this Walmart, the less you need to do to earn your paycheck. There are exceptions to this obviously but from my short experience, it was very disappointing. Shout out to the shift managers in the Fulfillment department though, some of the best employees in that whole building.

Served customers in a fast and courteous manner. Very busy environment. Most management were very fair and easy to go to when there was an issue. The hardest part of the job was cranky customers and long hours standing in one place. The most enjoyable part of this job was my coworkers
Pros
accessible
Cons
long hours standing in one place

The workers got along great.. Management caused issues. I quit due to a manager micro managing and yelling. As well as threatening to fire me if I didn't pick up extra shifts that they could not fill.

The hardest part of the job was dealing with angry customers. The enjoyable part was working over nights. Everybody worked as a team. Management was very co-operative and helpful when needed.

Mix of photo and electronics department duties. Learned a lot about consumer electronics pros and cons. Hardest part is working late night shifts until 11PM, you do not get to see your family.

Management is not very supportive at all. Often talk down to you and show very little consideration towards you as a person. Hours are not flexible and often collide with what you have put down as your actual availability. Coworkers are usually great, we all grew together and learned new things. Many times we'd have many challenges that we'd need to learn to over come together. The job is very routine, nothing every really changes. A lot of drama between the coworkers. You will often be treated as a number rather then a person.
Pros
10% discout card.
Cons
Long hours, none flexible hours, terrible managment.

Worst place. Cash manager was a tyrant who was always mean. There are some good managers! quite a few are wonderful people to work for but the ones I dealt with were awful. You could have missed work because you're in the hospital dying and they would need a sick note, and even then, they would mark it against you as not showing up for work. most enjoyable part of this job was leaving it.
Pros
N/A.. nothing is worth what you go through there
Cons
Cash Manager.

they work you to death. long hours with no remorse or care from your direct supervisors and coworkers are for the most part not enjoyable.
