Service Technician in Regina, SK

Extremely rundown and a lack of management
This was by far the most run down and poorly tooled shop I have ever been to. No service manager, no service advisor, no service writer and shop foreman is employed part time, working about 7 months of the year. The person in charge is whoever the most experienced technician is that day. Customers regularly billed for technician mistakes and fake warranty claims were rampant. No contest, the worst...

Excellent Company Culture
Employee Benefits are fantastic. The company values people as a whole but loose sight of the individual. Good effort, but too many managers, of managers of managers.

Abusive place to work. No training, set up for failure from the start.
They will tell you they will train, but once you start that goes out the window. Very grouchy crotchety place to work. Techs will only think of them selfs, safety is fairly non existent. They don't have a way to clean the floor, so roll in it! Gm is too busy buying new trucks to actually look after the staff.
