Five stars for management and salary
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Surrey, BC - 16 November 2021
Featured review
Würth selected this as a representative reviewI was sceptical when I first joined. The company went through a lot of changes before I joined and my sales area in BC had a lot of turn over for this position. There is a new CEO and he seems to be fairly reasonable and supportive so far. My area is challenging but the pay is great if you put in the work. I make more money in my first three months with Wurth than working with the military after 6 years. The company also gives you a company car that you use for business which is nice especially in BC where the gas prices are through the roof. The management and training are top notch. The people actually care about this company. My manager is the best manager I had in my life and I had a lot of bosses in the past. Friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and he puts in 100%. Most of the employees I engaged with in the back office have 10 years plus with the company which is a good sign. This job can be challenging, you need to be able to learn quickly, have entrepreneurial mindset - always approaching new and old clients, and be honest and respectful with them. TLDR: As a sales rep, your experience will depend a lot on the manager you have and the area you are in. If your manager is not experienced or involved it can be a difficult start. If your area previously had bad sales reps, (not supportive, lazy, dishonest, greedy) it will be tougher to convince customers to do business with you.
Pros
Salary, car, good management.
Cons
A lot of travelling

Flexible and decent job but can be stressful at times.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - St. John's, NL - 16 November 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Flexible working hours Car to drive iPad instead of laptop made it easier. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Wurth products were expensive and was a challenge at times to persuade customers to buy. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Mostly on your own. Pushed a culture of excellence What is a typical day like for you at the company? On the road visiting businesses.

Jobs at Würth
Salaire
Pros
Voiture
Cons
Salaire direction pression de vente

Learned a lot and enjoyed my time
Sales (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 10 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Autonomous, fun and flexible. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Upper management was not aligned with sales team. Nepotistic culture. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Success brings freedom. Sometimes totally unrealistic expectations were given to sales team. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Sales visits, calls/emails on the road and 90 mins of admin after your day was done.

Interesting Company
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - British Columbia - 1 August 2023
Great training program to help you succeed. Make sure you understand the pay plan and how you earn more money. Hopefully have a manger that supports you and sets you up for success instead of constant micro management.
Pros
Company vehicle, good training
Cons
Complicated pay plan

Sounded like a great place ..
Inside Sales (Former Employee) - Guelph, ON - 6 July 2023
At first it seemed great . Positive group! As time passed , management kept " adjusting " bonus levels . And changing the plan , not to sales advantage. Plus the person in charge of " customer policies " was constantly putting up barriers to make it harder to convince customers to buy . It became like a call center, and like we were selling aluminum siding.
Pros
Great products, free hot beverages
Cons
Difficult policies for customers, bonuses always changing.

Great training, well managed company
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 4 May 2023
Outside sales can be tough if you are shy and afraid of cold calls. If you like networking and sales and have mechanic/construction background, you will do very well. Cell phone, iPad, car provided. I have a great DSM. Great benefits. There is pressure to hit monthly sales target.

Words do not equal actions
Territory Manager (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 28 October 2022
Promises, promises, promises. Everything about Wurth looks and sounds good, from the training to the pay to the way they do business. You're 100% at the mercy and roll of the dice on which manager you get and whether he gives two hoots about his team or your territory. While you may start with a solid zone/location, you quickly find that it can be reorganized and your income can shift by 20% or more. It's a gamble and it's always about what's best for them and the senior staff.

Use to be fun
Former Empolyee (Former Employee) - Guelph, ON - 3 July 2022
New leadership new philosophies. Management is two faced, will tell you that you are doing good one day, let you go the next. Beware, this company has some really high goals and there's a lot of people they have used and let go. Hopefully you don't become one, lots of turnaround for a reason.

High stress, high priority, better not have family
Technical maintenance supervisor (Former Employee) - Guelph - 27 June 2022
The plant is pretty awesome high tech, and automated. Maintenance is difficult, but challenging. Hard to do it all for one person, especially if you have a family. Salary vs work load do not match. Ot as salary is maintenance not provided, so make you work for less than what you are worth. Business focused, can be rewarding but very stressfull
Pros
Days mostly
Cons
Business focused, management salary instead of hourly.. so not ot pay, even though you work ot

Place for self motivated people, and if you want to make decent salary over achieve
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Guelph, ON - 3 March 2022
Salary is confusing due to their system of guarantee, expectations are really high to produce and commissions are really low, you have to work 25% more to make same amount of money each year.
Pros
Great benefits
Cons
Salary is not upto industry standard

Many internal job opportunities
Customer Management Supervisor (Current Employee) - Guelph, ON - 21 September 2021
Wurth Canada has been so good to me! Over the last year and a half I have moved up from a maternity leave contract position as a coordinator to a permanent position as a supervisor. My team is amazing and hard working and my manager is very supportive. The other teams we work closely with help out whenever it gets busy and I can't say anything bad about Wurth other than the fact that the option of working from home keeps me away from seeing my work friends in person
Pros
Team lunches, work events, social committee events, free coffee, double monitors & large workstations.
Cons
Onboarding training needs improvement
