Great place to work, very good environment and friendly co-workers and management
I've been here four months and I am truly enjoying it. The location is good for commuting and the pay is competitive. It's a typical 7:30-3:30 and work life balance is easy and manageable. The company is committed to it's employees mental health, which I find very important. The safety protocols for CoVid were followed and some are still being implemented as well. Safety is their top priority amongst the employees.

If you are newly hired, just expect you are vulnerable to lay off. They lay off people every winter.
It is expected that they lay off people in winter. If that suits you then you can call that a good work life balance. Just do your job. There are toxic collegues but easily ignored. I liked the union.

Toxic and Bad
You will be flooded with work. You will be asked to do unpaid overtime. Management will never support you. Paid less as compared to work. You are not entitled to speak up the correct thing.

Stressful and Politics Driven
I will just say: if you don’t want to ruin your career, do not work here. Better work somewhere else with less salary but not here. Management will politics to get you out if you ask questions. They expect you to say yes to everything. You willBe given task with you are not suppose to do like mopping and painting. Management is biased and negative.

They have this vision posted on a wall including teamwork but they never have this. I work at the packing line with an $18.11/hr wage but they want you to do more. They even let you work alone at the packing area. Make boxes, glue it, put the mattress inside the box and cover it. After that you need to put it on the skid and wrap it. They even want you to operate the machine without paying you as a machine operator. Everyday you’re tired. It is a fast paced environment. Last march of 2022 we volunteered to get laid off because we only get 2 days work because of shortage of work and before we got laid off we are promised that when we get back we’ll receive a gift card but as of this moment we never received any. Union sucks as well.
