Fun casual job
Working at their UBC location was great while it lasted, having likeminded coworkers who valued a plant-based lifestyle was something super important to me. The work culture was good. I was trained fully on the job, with no prior experience.

Stressful not rewarding job with tones of hoops to jump through
Advancement is arbitrary no clear outlining goals, little support to operation staff, long hours, low pay for staff, not many salary positions. Will be forced to fill multiple positions while you're in a salaried position.

Great people and interesting work
My favorite job so far. My work changes day to day which keeps things interesting and the people are great. Very inclusive and progressive environment which is very refreshing.

Horrible management
It was a great place to work a year ago, but the new managers are unbearable. They are always micromanaging and picking on staff, besides overloading us (they schedule 2 people to do the job of 4). No wonder they had to reduce their opening hours since most of the team has gone.

Terrible management, lots of overtime, doing the job of 5 people
Terrible place to work, wages were random (some people were hired with a higher wage than those who had been there the longest), almost always did overtime. New people were barely trained so if they half-assed their job, we had to stay longer to fix their mistakes. Only got offered a higher wage when I put my 2 weeks in, there were no benefits at all. Overall terrible management and no consistent ...
