At Virgin Plus, you're not a customer, you're a Member and "Members Get" exclusive deals from awesome brands, a shot at VIP access and one-of-a-kind experiences to events in Canada and around the world. That's on top of super-hot smartphones on ridiculously-fast LTE speeds and plans with loads of extras built right in! Virgin Plus Members and Canadians can do some good in their local communities by helping empower at-risk and homeless youth in Canada with Virgin Plus RE*Generation.
Why work for us?
We're seriously fun! We value fun and encourage it as a management style and as a culture. We work hard, but party even harder (if you like that sort of thing).
People are our greatest asset. We believe in treating people with respect and giving them the freedom to be themselves.

My position at Virgin Plus was alright. It was a good starting sales job for anyone looking to get their foot in the door for a starting sales position.
Good place to start your career if you're good with people and technology. Sales incentives help push motivation throughout the weeks and months. Job growth depends on your effort.
If you have the personality for sales, and find you can speak to almost anyone easily, this kind of role is a great one to start in a commission structure. Customers are generally easy to work with, and the commission amounts were decent for the role and the location. Upper management will make your work much harder than it needs to be, and routinely seem to undermine other employees. Management will always give an excuse for why raises are skipped, or bonuses are delayed, but will never accept an excuse from a rep when a target is missed. The work culture of VM Plus is very much "Bell's red-headed step child that they don't want to think about." This culture is even noted by outside vendors/contractors that interact with the sales reps. Targets are high and only go up, with management often rewarding the best workers with much more work until they burn out. Benefits are good, and vacation time is plenty, but all of it comes with an undertone of "we can take this away at any moment."
The one thing I can say is since you truly work for bell, the benefits are unbeatable, but that also comes with all the misery that is working for bell. You are undervalued, under paid, and over-criticized. You constantly have to “take accountability” for not meeting the outrageous targets and goals set by corporate management with none of the tools to succeed because it’s up to us to recoup the gap in their COVID bonuses with less business, higher prices, and supply shortages. Bell Let’s Talk about how you destroy your employees mental health.
Management often had favouritism towards male employees and was very judgemental/ unfair to female employees, bad days often included tricks so that they had valid reasons for punishment.
