Well such a beautiful team spirit which I'm mostly happy about the job is the job for someone like me who has been doing my job for over a decade but what makes it special is the team that I've been apart of so far and a great management team who are very inclusive and the diversty speak out and it's shows all day by all the different cultures that come together. And the very best in giving opportunities to person who are ready to get a taste of the real world as your startup job for the love stories I've been told by those who made it the first jobs always brings a smile to my face thanks for sharing. I added attention to detail because it is a food company so getting it right is very important for customers purposes.
Pros
Team members, management, culture, freeze goodes
Cons
Standing, hours, attention to detail.

Fantastic management, coworkers, and environment!
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 29 December 2022
I worked at the Roncesvalles location and had a fabulous experience overall. The management was supportive, kind, and onto it. My coworkers were all lovely people who did their jobs well. The pay was very fair with some incentives along the way. I enjoyed this position thoroughly and only left due to my personal circumstances (moving!).

Fun at work and more response in active work place
Area Supervisor (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 6 October 2022
It was great when I got in. I was happy to get along with everybody. But in the long process, this place is working nice. My manager gave me a nice treat all the time. And I always been taught by my colleagues and always helping me. Leaving the work so soon after I got promoted, I got to teach and mentor some of my members and eventually they found success. A great place to start where you can use your excellence and skills you have in the work place.

Great environment and team. Pay increases are almost not a thing
Production Team Member (Current Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 20 March 2022
Have been with the company for many years. Is a great environment and lots of amazing people. Is a great team to be apart of. Leader/Managers are very kind and helpful. There's always extra juice to take home. If your willing to put in the effort there's always oppturintiy to become a team lead but most don't want to due to the little to no raises If the wage increase was actually competitive and mean something would be ideal place to work at. But after being here for multiple years only real increase I got was when I had to beg. Higher ups that are IN charge of pay increase need to understand that this selfishness deeply affects their employees and their image. I real hope they wake up and appreciate the efforts of their employees as it is a great place to work for. I just want everyone to be paid fairly and be with them long term.
Pros
People, Environment, Free Product, station gets easier every day.
Cons
Pay increases only happen once a year and is a few cents

Friendly Work Environment
In-Store Nutritionist (Current Employee) - Toronto, ON - 29 August 2019
Great company culture, owners and management are very friendly and encouraging. Village really cares about the environment and the ethics behind their products. There is room to grow within the company depending on open positions, as the company grows more opportunities open up. The hours are quite flexible so great if you are a student or have a second job. You also receive a free staff item every shift. However, a lot is expected out of an in-store nutritionist who runs the store by themselves. With having to multitask food delivery apps, checking reset boxes, phone calls, checking customers out, answering questions, cleaning the store, inventory, and making drinks - the hourly pay is low. There are no scheduled breaks so long shifts can feel quite overwhelming, and at times it is hard to eat meals with customers constantly coming in. Overall a great place to work if you want to get a start within the nutrition world.
