Pre opening team in Victoria, BC
on 17 December 2019
Pre opening experience only
I cannot comment as my role was pre opening based in Victoria and not at the resort. The resort is located in the Cowichan Valley and is in a spectacular location.

Fun atmosphere, hardworking team and scenic views
The team is so welcoming and friendly that they make you feel like part of the family right away. There is a strong culture for team work, everyone genuinely cares about each other and has each others back. It is such a fun environment to work in and the beautiful views are the icing on the cake. I highly recommend joining this amazing team at this special property.

Great place with friendly team
The Villa Eyrie and Alpina restaurant teams are outstanding - genuine people with open communication - management is great. A lot has changed in the world in last few years and this place is definitely one of them - for the better !!! I think it’s a great working environment and great pay, with benefits like fuel allowance, one of the best on the Island now in hospitality .

Great place to work
Came for an internship during the summer and I will keep coming back as long as they will have me. They understand I have schooling and that it’s priority and ensure I have achieve my goals. Great managers.

stable and positive work place even in the current challenging times
After some negative people left in 2019 and 2020 it is a great place and i love what i do. Like all other Hotels we also had a lot of challenges in 2020 and this year, but I'm happy to say our team got thru them really well. Focus is on clients and great quality in every department. It is a very busy place in the summer and busy the rest of the year so it feels like we always work hard. But it has been fun and seeing the restaurant and the hotel getting busier and busier is nice to see. I advanced thru a few positions and hope there will be more.
