The job is easy to pick up with minimal experience required, however the tasks are very repetitive. The management is unorganized and the workspace is bland. A typical workday tends to feel very long with little sense of satisfaction at the end.

Slow paced, many management issues, other companies pay more.

Kind of got led on with this position, hardly ever anything to do and when there is the pacing is very slow. Lots of time sitting in the office waiting for something to happen.

No challenge, not a good position for a young guy, recommend to an old man perhaps. The entire staff is 10+ years older on average. Hardest job is to stay awake. Enjoyable part is the rare occasion when there is work to do.

Based on employee surveys, Viking was ranked as one of Canada’s top 50 Employers. Very supportive local management team and a head office that helps maintain consistency across Canada. A corporation that doesn’t feel like a corporation. Proud to be part of the team and highly recommend to interested candidates.

This company is a fantastic company to work for you will always have the support from upper management in any decision that you as an employee makes. My only regret is the fact that I quite to go to a lesser company.

Management was really unprofessional and unexperienced. I found the lower level management was the worst and would constantly sabotage each other's reputations or create huge problems out of doing just what they are supposed to do. There is a real entitled culture with office staff across country and lack of ethics. I wasn't there long but it seems that no one knows what they are doing except the technicians who I found to be personable and skilled.
Pros
Not much work, recomend salary
Cons
Junior management will freak out over day to day operations

It is always demanding and challenging but employees are treated fairly. Management is not micro-managing and has faith in their employees. Co-workers are friendly but expect a great performance from you.The hardest part of the job is the constant demand of multi-tasking at all times. However, the most enjoyable part is finishing early on Fridays.
Pros
Free lunches from time to time
Cons
Skipping lunch from time to time

Good Monday morning, I would sift through invitations, get current progress reports and fill my calender for the week.
I have learned to problem solve and and provide the best possible service to the customer.

Pleasing the customer and having a profitable project pleases management, the worker gets noticed and future projects are closer.
Co-workers have to be treated with tre respect that they deserve because your working future depends on them. They are the people you depend on when ever in doubt.

The hardest part of the job was getting to and from appointments in this congested Greater Toronto and surrounding area.

The most enjoyable part of the job was pleasing the customer, and management.
Pros
facing new challenges each day.
Cons
traffic congestion
