Vertica only hires temps. Nothing wrong with this. Once your time is up, you are done. Worked twice for them between May and November 2018, as a temp, at 3 of their 8 Toronto locations. Went for interview at their Head Office for another position, after temp work finished, at the beginning of December 2018 and never heard back from them.
Soon after that, 2 weeks I guess, I applied for floating leasing consultant, sent my resume in and was told to come again for an interview at Head Office, around 18th of December 2018, which was cancelled on a short notice, without any viable explanation. Sent an email inquiring if there will be another interview, silence again.
Employment agency, that sent me there, StaffMax, keeps advertising the same company and even if I asked, how comes that after working for them twice and doing a good job, am not called back, or is this company having an issue with me, silence again.
Even if by any "miracle", will be solicited to work for them again, will decline any future employment with Vertica and any involvement with StaffMax. I would like to ask you to take all the above in consideration, when you will get a sudden call, from StaffMax, to work for Vertica
Thank you, but No, thank you..
Rate of pay, Employment agency docked $10.00 hourly from my pay
