Everyday is a routine. I love my Job but most who doesn't experienced working in the ship with just 22-24 crew or less, all things will be the same daily, unlike in land base even it's routine you can mingle to different kind of persons and the Vibes is really different, the compensation is good and lots of opportunities awaits. Also if you're in land base the knowledge is more wide, Also in terms of emotional situation, small problem in ship is bigger than you thought due to lack of persons you count to , especially if you don't have Internet.
Pros

Cons
Small compensation and not justifiable income for us seafarer.
