Worked for Vecima in a small branch office in Toronto which no longer exists. Only got to travel to the Saskatoon location once and never got to the Vancouver HQ. Staff were very supportive and informative.

Equipment Assoiciate (Former Employee) –  Saskatoon, SK9 April 2017
Although I was laid off from working at Vecima, I did enjoy my work there.
It is a place where true multi-culturalism does exist. I did not see the picture of what management was up against but did feel that management could have done a better job and could still be doing a better job promoting of products being built.
Rnd was slow than I believe they should be but bare in mind I was not privy to all information for this to be an accurate observation.
Pros
Excellent Beneifit program
Cons
Questioniable management straigies

electronics assembler tester (Former Employee) –  Saskatoon15 November 2013
started with no prior experience, was given training and continuous opportunities to upgrade skills.

excellent benefits package and a great HR department.

positive corporate culture; and very multi-cultural with more of a big city feel in a smaller more commuter friendly setting (the Saskatoon manufacturing plant).

mix of legacy and new products for the global market keeps things interesting and affords opportunities to move from one line to another if desired.

personally my favourite job ever
Pros
great working environment, great benefits
Cons
if you're coming from out of province, resettling in Saskatoon might be difficult.
