Chief Engineer and Utilities/Plant Systems Manager (Former Employee) - 12th and Oak, Vancouver, B.C. - 17 October 2023
For Vancouver?? You look no further than Hwy 99 and the Oak Street Bridge. Any person who navigates this daily is a hero. You ask the hardest question. I learned quickly that I know people and their motivations. I learned this in life. My best part of the job, and hardest, was (and is) assignation or denial of a certification. I know I will always be about safety, I have no choice on that.
Pros
Company Truck, See Daughter
Cons
Plane Hours

This place is run by privilege employees
Dietary Aide (Current Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 5 July 2023
It’s a unionized work environment, and most employees have been working here since 90’s , job is not easy and you get less hours if you’re a newly hired employee, the only reason it works for me is because I need my daytime for side hustle, that’s how I make profits to survive expensive life in Vancouver
Pros
Good benefits
Cons
Less hours for newly hired (I know not everyone is in my shoes), and you need a lot of patience working with privilege co workers (I dont really work with them now, so it’s good for me)
