Ok. But …busy, very busy!Always using my skills from previous experience, hard to receive any time for continuing education. The culture has changed over the years; where nurses were respected with their input, now seems senior management doesn’t want front line input. Fantastic team but management could be better!
My team at Medical Imaging at RH was super friendly and cooperative. Training was short due to ongoing staff shortage but if you are computer savvy (even just a bit), it’s easy to learn the system. It’s absolutely necessary to have a bit of anatomy and physiology knowledge prior to starting the role. The staff shortage is an issue that management can deal with in a better way. Extremely demanding work /standards: management suffers from critical flaws
Very important /keenly needed work assisting/ supporting elderly & vulnerable people to stay safe & healthy in their own homes.
