Productive, Detail Oriented and Organized work place

I am very happy working under Vancouver Coastal Health. It is a very fast pace environment which I enjoy. Work flow management is also amazing, only thing that does suck is that as a casual you only get so many shifts but other than that, It is a good work place, very well managed

Stressful and impossible management and workload

Fantastic team but management could be better!

My team at Medical Imaging at RH was super friendly and cooperative. Training was short due to ongoing staff shortage but if you are computer savvy (even just a bit), it’s easy to learn the system. It’s absolutely necessary to have a bit of anatomy and physiology knowledge prior to starting the role. The staff shortage is an issue that management can deal with in a better way. Good work environment but low pay. Good benefits and vacation. Hoping once they negotiate a new contract for us, the wages will increase. Benefits are fantastic and you accrue vacation and sick days.

Its okay

Management was not great and didn't give you the support needed. If you had an issue with something, they wouldn't even be listening to your problems. Also, most management are friends and will do everything possible to stab you in the back
