Great place to work
Excellent work culture, lots of opportunities to advance and supportive management. Pay, hours and flexibility varies widely depending on area of work. Generally staff are professional and hard working throughout

High Stress Low Reward
Great benefits, but thats it. No incentives for performance and very high stress environment. Work here if you need paid vacation and benefits. Don’t work here if you need cash flow.

Overworked and lack of support
Good benefits, and coworkers, however company lacks a training and on-boarding process for new employees, particularly in management. Could benefit significantly from clear policy.
Nurse in Richmond, BC

Lowered my rating since the pandemic
Before Covid, I would have given a higher rating. VCH drop the ball in several areas, in terms of supporting frontline staff during the pandemic. Quite demoralizing, unfortunately.
