Be confident do not panic
Do some research! Visit the website and have a basic understanding of how the donation process works and who the local nonprofit partner is if possible. This information can also be readily obtained by visiting the store in person. Brochures are given out to donors and are available at or near each cash register.
I would also advise showing up 5-10 minutes before your scheduled interview, no more or no less. If you are running late phone ahead and let the interviewer know so that they can plan their time accordingly or reschedule if necessary. You will rarely be the only appointment of the day so please be considerate. Remember that appearance counts, even if it’s a thrift store. You only get one chance to make a first impression so make a good one!
