A great way to get teaching experience
The pay has been high enough to cover my graduate student tuition, and the experience may benefit my future teaching career. If I work more than expected, I can also report it to the department. I couldn't ask for more!

Good pay and great experience
Love working there, I’m a full-time graduate student, and my TA job duties are marking and answering questions. Great supervisor and good pay. Flexible time

Fun and respectful place
It's a great place to develop your skills, work on variety of projects and enjoy friendly atmosphere. I would recommend UVic as a great employer with many perks that go along with working here (daycare, campus security, location, people)
