Productive and fun workplace
Everything it's going great, I enjoyed my work, I enjoyed my work companions. I was I was advancing and wages. Then for some reason they just fired me. It was a great place to work
Customer Service Technician in Ontario

decent place to work
training is important but numbers mean everything. management more concerned about bonuses than actual resolutions to issues.pay scale sometimes based on whether or not someone is willing to do the job more than showing you are worth it.
Outside Sales Representative in Toronto, ON
on 16 August 2022
Great place to work but..
Good company with good people but they need to pay a higher base salary to outside sales reps (typically is around 30k base and the rest is commission) and offer more then 2 weeks vacation for the first 5 years. Employers should be started at 3 weeks at the minimum now.. a lot of turn over with long term employees over the last 2 years and they still haven’t changed these things
Diesel Mechanic in Ottawa, ON

It is ok
United rentals was an amazing company, but the manager from my branch was terrible. They expected me to be a mechanic without simple shop tools(oil buckets, Jack's, air compressor, torches etc)There was no bulk oil or waste oil tanks, the shop had only 1 bay and 3 employees. I'm not sure what else to say. I would likely go bsck for a much higher pay. They seem to max out at around 27/hr when everyone other rental company in the area is paying north of 35.

Great workplace!
Great workplace! Get the tasks done expected of you obviously safety is priority over all! Lots of equipment comes and goes. Old out replaced with new. If old sent out for refurbishing and when back bring it up to code or standards!
