There's Such a thing as too much change
Customer Service/Technical Support/Ops (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, BC1 October 2018
Too much change is not good. The management team that came on in 2016 was really there to make a difference. But that all began to change in the spring and with it- the culture turned toxic. Uniserve will never reach its potential with those in charge unless managers treat employees better.

Everyone is afraid they will be fired. The managers that wanted to make a change were dismissed. History seems to be repeating itself.

Broken promises. Lower than industry wages. Culture of disrespect and fear.

Many people are looking for new jobs myself included.

4 CEOs in as many years.

Telecom Sales Engineer (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC7 November 2017
Was a good working enviroment until the management team had a minor reshuffle and it changed the work dynamic and went from a good enviroment to a bad one.

Potential exists but lacks direction
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, BC9 March 2017
Typical day at Uniserve requires one to dawn several hats in the organization.
If you don't spend time above and beyond what is required, your job never get's done. Management has an idea of what to do, but lacks the ability to follow through. Company is very sales oriented and it often hurts them as they over sell and under deliver regularly to their customer.
There are some bright minds there, but they are overburdened with work to actually make a significant change.
Don't see these issues changing any time soon.
Pros
Great co-workers
Cons
Pays around 30% below market average, understaffed, no policies or proper tools to get the required job done correctly.

CALL CENTER AGENT (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC10 June 2015
Uniserve is a great company to work for. I little unorganized at times but they are always offering people the opportunity to move into different positions and learn new skills.

Accounts Payable Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Vancouver10 March 2014
A Small company run by the owner. Laid back and business casual. The owner and controller are good people.
