13 questions about working at UNIQLO
Long hours,managment
Answered 28 June 2019You will walk in. To a 3-person panel interview. One person will do most of the initial talking. Asking you basics like confirming your interested in either FT OR PT and if you have school or any other plans to leave before 1 year. They want permanent hires not casual work a few months and leave sort of employees. My guess is they take the time to train you they are nothing if not efficient and I think they take this into consideration where as most jobs out there the pay is low and people come and go and you’re a dime a dozen. UNIQLO seems to care about who they are investing in. They will then move on. Ask you a few questions like how are you working with group. If such and such happened. Would you be more confrontational or agreeable to whet the other coworker suggested doing (the way we do something etc). What was one mistake you made in your previous job and how did you fix it. Some other questions. Then. The second person will ask you a few more questions (2-3 questions) and then the last person will ask you whatever else they feel was missed or needed asking. Overall the interview was 13 mins. It was intimidating a bit. I walked in expecting to see just the guy who greeted me outside the door 😂. I walked in and go OH👀😳 okeeeeeey (breath) and just walked in. Waited. And then sat down once the assistant manager sat down 😅 Overall. JUST BE YOURSELF. they aren’t looking for anything special. They aren’t waiting for you to trip or say something goofy. Just answer honestly. (They asked me how much I know about their company I told them I know the company is Japanese and they sell cool clothes 🤣🤷♀️ I mean I’m not going to make stuff up). I’m sure I’ll know more down the road. They were all very friendly. The employees up front. The breakroom too. I’m excited. (I didn’t see any gossip in the break room. How nice 🤩)
Answered 4 July 2019Scenario questions like when was a time you went out of the way to give exceptional customer service?, during your time at '____' what was the worse mistake you've made and what did you do to fix it? Also, basic questions like 'why do you want to work here?' and 'what separates you a part from other candidates?'
Answered 19 March 2019On average we're talking about 10 hours considering you usually work You either work from 8 to 5 plus overtime, mid shift (10 to 7, 11 to 8, 12 to 9) or Closing Shift, having only half an hour break. there were shifts for Black Friday week or Boxing Day week in which you could have to submit total open availability and be ready to work 12 hours shifts.
