Collaborative and Fulfilling Workplace

Lots of great teamwork, and everything is done very collaboratively. There is no pressure, if you feel you need help there is always someone around to help, including supervisors. As long as you have empathy and patience, it is very rewarding.

A place to grow, learn, and discover your purpose

Inescapable realities manifest within one, while working at UGM - you will grow, learn, and discover your gifts and limitations. You will work alongside the most caring staff; and, you will discover the real hearts of the DTE denizens. Yes they are lonely, yet beautiful, insightful, and unmasked.

Classist and bigoted workplace

I encountered a lot of anti-indigenous people when working there. A lot of hate towards LGBTQ people as well. (All from staff!) Very bigoted workplace that thinks having a sunny demeanor at all times means they're not doing harm. Get over yourselves.

Depending on area of work can be very stressful

Overall a great place to work. Everyone is friendly and collaborative. Many different areas of work once you are there you can apply for other positions
