Reviews about Pay & benefits for Driver at Uber

Terrible

No security at all could get robbed easily and gas is so expensive that it’s not worth it anymore. Hated doing Uber but had no choice after COVID. You make decent money but have to put a lot of hours in

Pros

Flexible schedule

Cons

Long hours

Be prepared to go above and beyond without fair compensation

Initially believed the company when it came to transparency, quickly realized it was very objective, especially to the reason I was hired. Overall don't believe someone's success on a job should be based on the reason someone does or doesn't choose to drive, despite doing your part in aiding them.

Pros

Helpful coworkers, Great benefits, No weekend hours, Some sensible drivers, Great cohension amongst non management workers

Cons

Bonuses are not in your control, Work can seem non-beneficial, You are the phone specialist, outside of working the app, Higher and higher expectations w/out higher pay, not included in bonus, Huddles, at times, were monotonous and non-engaging

It’s a flexible job but Uber takes 50%-70% of fare and you are left with the rest.

It’s a flexible job since you work whenever you want but also spend a lot on gas. Uber takes 50 to 70 percent of fare and you are left with the rest. Bonus help a little but it’s better to work at busy times so you can make extra money.
