Stressful and like of confidence

Indeed featured review

They give less than minimum wage their drivers I hope they change that. Drivers buy everything and at the end they go back with less. If they increase the wages many people and families will appreciate

Fixable time job, good for making extra money after full time job.

Good for part timeFixable time job. Good for making extra money after full time job. I can meet all kinds of people. Most of the riders are good. Few of them even though I try my best to provide good service but still getting low rate.

Good Side Hustle

Good job hustle, in my opinion. Deliver/drive on busy nights, or else earnings are far more unpredictable. Tips make up most of the earnings, so best to have good customer service. No benefits, no bonuses, unfortunately.

Independent contractor work, hardly see anyone from Uber

Great as a side gig economy hustle, work when you want and as much as you want. Sometimes when doing Uber eats there is too much down time, other than that it's good

Pros

work when you want

Cons

wear and tear on vehicle, too much down time sometimes

Good for extra cash!

It is really great working for uber as you can do it whenever you want. There is no fixed time or pay. Sometimes you get more sometimes less. The hard part is getting orders but the pay makes it fun!

U have to work very long hours to make money Overall it’s a very good option if you have a job and you drive uber part time to supplement your income because by the time you pay for your experience you make below minimum wage

Enjoyable job if you put in the time

I enjoy being a courier for Uber, and when the winter time comes the pay is competitive. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, you can make it a full time job.

Completely corporate.

Co keeps adding drvrs & this excess means longer wait time for rides, lesser income and job dissatisfaction. Even hitting bonus is made ext difficult.

Costs associated not worth it

Hey there A good pastime, to meet people waste gas, eat, get thirsty and pay out maintenance costs. Spending doesn’t equal payout. Too many drivers fight for same dollar

Job security

It’s really hard to manage your expenses as a full time uber drivers in these days. They don’t have any control on the numbers of drivers, overall uber is getting benefit but as a driver it is hard.

Set your own hours but no guarantee of steady trips. May be times of no deliveries or very busy.

Allows me to set my own hours. Wages are not that good. Wages are better than Canadian EI but worse than minimum wage. As an independent contractor there are no benefits. Average wage is $400-$450 for 40-50 hr week.

It can be fun if you like meeting new people

I personally regret having done this job because you pay for your own gas and the pay is very little when you compare it to the kms you travel. Only good thing about this job was meeting new customers.

UberX est payant, mais Uber Eats pas du tout

Environ 30$/h chez UberX et une moyenne de 8-9$/h chez uber eats ce qui est sous le minimum
