Uber Drivers
Uber Drivers Employee Review
Not enough money
Driver (Current Employee) - Montréal, QC - 2 June 2023
They only positive things about driving with Uber is the flexibility and work life balance. You can manage your own hours and drive on your own time… However the money you get for each ride isn’t enough to compensate for the miles you put in, the gas you spend (if your car isn’t electric) and the wear and tear you put on your car… Uber is taking too much and not leaving enough for the driver Since most of us have regular cars, we need money for gas and maintenance Therefore we should get atleast 85% of the actual fare but we are getting only about 50% On top of that, we have to put away about 25% of our salary for taxes leaving us very little to survive (if we don’t have another source of income) That’s why Uber should be a part time side hussle on top of a stable job that doesn’t require you to use your car and burn gas

Decent Side Hustle

Lots of weekend driving. It entailed working during rush hours to earn decent income. Weekend's were hectic at times, but the earnings were as expected.

Has its ups and downs
Driver (Current Employee) - Montréal, QC - 25 August 2023
It's a decent way to make extra cash but expect to put a million miles on your car in a short time period. Plus you'll have to pay a lot in taxes at the end of the year.
