The daily work environment involved working closely with people from diverse backgrounds and views as well as working independently in a fast paced environment to keep the flow of work at the desired level.
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) – Burlington, ON – 5 July 2018
I worked at UPS for 23 years . The treatment was well. Had to resign because of the commute. Worked as an associate. is picking, packing, dispatching, drove the walkie, loaded and off-loaded trucks, worked in returns. Performed most tasks required in a warehouse setting.
Worst management you will ever encounter unless you are sucker!
Markham - Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) – Markham, ON – 20 December 2017
Management is the worst you will every encounter. They only see what they want to see and promote who they want to promote. Unethical practices by management is very normal. Personnel get promoted without job postings, or without requirements met for the position. Great place for suckers!
Hardest part working at this place is at -30 C conditions for the same exact pay as the person walking around and counting inventory. That really sucks.
Most of colleagues are nice but very few are hypocrites, particularly one lead hand. These hypocrites are very friendly but they stab you at the back by gossiping to everyone including management. Very hard to identify these culprits.
Pick, pack and ship is normal process at work except few areas that needs heavy lifting of packages
The most important thing I learned here is how valuable the product is for the patient and the need to ship out by the end of the day. Due to some of the hard working individuals, UPS SCS is still holding the client. Because of these individuals you feel happy you are not alone.
Finally not recommended to work at this location due to two supervisors and one lead hand. Manager changed 6 months back and nothing much changed.
Nice environment, great client, some good coworkers. Favoritism pays a lot.
Worst management you will ever encounter, pay sucks, hardworking not recognized, punishment program in place if you don't obey management.
Slow pace, poorly managed, unfit work environment.
Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) – Belleville, ON – 21 August 2017
Poorly managed, run-down company that will ship absolutely anything for money! They hire very poor workers and treat them horribly. They are lazy and treat customers like a joke. Holding packages on purpose just because they don't like the person.
Benefits, union, internal hiring
Slow paced, poorly managed, profanity in the workplace
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Barrie, ON – 4 April 2017
Disgusting expectations for low amount of pay, it requires too much damage to to body for the reward. Unless you're a drive or Office worker, you will be benefited. Anyone in the Warehouse with surely regret the job.
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Lake Country, BC – 12 March 2017
Just terrible management some days they would post a start time some days they would not. They would text at a ridiculous hours of the night to advise us of start time which could change at any time. No communication between management or staff at all. Union staff that work they employ are opinionated and have been known to belittle staff.
Terrible management, management never listens, co workers are the best part of the work though. favors few people in return for turning against a lot. Favors production vs quality. Keeps pushing for production even though it is one of the more quiet times of the year,
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Richmond, BC – 21 October 2016

Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) – Oakville, ON – 4 April 2016
Ups is a good warehouse offers great benefits but raises are ok. Lunches are on schedule and Fridays catered food. Co-workers are great and easy to work with. Repetitive work but you have weekends off.
