Warehouse
Order Picker/Packer (Former Employee) - North Vancouver, BC - 6 November 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis place has good product but the warehouse workers are very unorganized and I witnessed a lot of theft especially during the night shift. Beware of the Filipinos who work there. There is no structure at all.
Pros
A handful of loyal people
Cons
Toxic management and poor pay

Not a rewarding workplace
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 26 September 2023
When an employee/manager/supervisor leave, the position is not filled, but the work is passed on to the rest of the team. You end up with more tasks that you have not done in past and you have to learn years after you start working there, you are not incentivized, or thanked for your efforts. In the last few months there has been several mangers that left the job, most of them have not been replaced but their work was given to other members of their department, this is not good when you have department heads that leave in small amount of time. You can see from the employee morale that that everyone is over worked, and under appreciated. No employee knows who to ask questions to anymore.
Pros
Employees and team members
Cons
too much work, bad management

Jobs at Two Rivers Specialty Meats
It was good Until owner took over the management
Production Worker (Former Employee) - North Vancouver, BC - 9 June 2023
It was fun working here for a couple of years until the operation manager decided to leave as the owner(Jason Plegm) decided to disagree with everything he sees about how things the manager was running things. If you want work for advancements, self-growth, team-work, leadership and security… this isn’t the place for you. Even the nicest, most patient people have given up working in this place. Following the operations managers decision to leave, a bunch of people have left due to how the owner treats his people. Good luck!
Pros
10 Percent discount for the $25 burger, $10 annual birthday gift card, Free 2-3 year old meats when clearing inventory
Cons
Owner is not a good example of a leader, no raise, management

Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) - North Vancouver, BC - 7 November 2022
There were no KPIs to measure performance hence no basis for pay increase. Starting pay was the same as 5 years ago. No clear HR policies on vacation and sick leaves, tardiness, and so is prone to unfair employee treatment. This company has amazing products but sadly run by bad management.
Pros
Friendly line people
Cons
Bully management

Not a recommended job !
Production Worker (Former Employee) - North Vancouver, BC - 2 June 2021
Management doesnt care about their workers .. they always nice if they needed you to get the job done .. then nothing no appreciation at all to those who worked hard for them .. fyi i started there at 17$ an hour .. and now they are hiring for 16$ an hour .. well then believe me its not worth the pay regrding to the job and also toxic people around you .. theres a lot of good companies to apply tho but still your choice ..

Great place to work
CUSTOMER SERVICE (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 26 February 2020
I was a driver for the first 2 years and it was a great experience, great crew to work with. I left for few month to finish school and they were nice enough to have me back working front end in the eatery.

Driver
Driver (Former Employee) - Vancouver, BC - 2 May 2019
Good place to work does have a lot of issues that need to be addressed Sales reps make to many early delivery promises that Driver do have diffuctly doing as product is always behind filling orders and as you plan your own route the other issue is when you loading the orders for the deliveries you are looking for you orders as they do not have a system to placing any order together and as there are 3 drivers you are all looking for yours that are mixed together.
But over all this is a good place to work
Pros
company get away are awesome most of the staff are great
Cons
dis-organized production, but over all no real cons to mention

Best place I've ever worked
Server (Former Employee) - North Vancouver, BC - 26 April 2019
This is easily the best job I have ever had in my entire life. The management I trained under is unfortunately no longer there, so I can not speak to whether or not the environment and management has maintained as high of a level of excellency when I was there.
Pros
food discount, meat slicing training, great vibes
Cons
slight scheduling issues
