fast passed environment, phone contstantly ringing, loud, fun
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 5 February 2018
I loved working for this Company, the fast passed environment always made for a busy day, management could of been better, loved dealing with the customers, met a great many people through this company, although the turn around rate for employment is very high
Eager and willing o/o with lots of experience. (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 5 June 2017
They have a huge driver turnover for a reason. In their yard in Michigan sits many many trucks that no one drives. The satelite system that they make you use is out dated at best. Dispatch does not ensure that you will get accross the border for the cheap fuel. If you are the type of person that likes to have hours upon hours of you time thrown away then you will love this job. If you like driving hundreds of extra miles for practice then just make sure you have room in your budget for ALL the extra fuel. During my second week I waited around or drove for 60 hours and made 100$ They said " that's trucking. Maybe you will make money next werk." I know a guy that bought a brand new Ford transit van to do the job and he also lost a lot of money during his first two weeks. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
You only have to drive up to 100 miles for free when picking up an order or dropping one off.
Operations (Former Employee) – Windsor – 26 May 2017
This company has been around more than 30 years, great staff, mostly all long term, some of the people have been there more than 20+years. The environment is friendly, great group of drivers, many of them are long term as well. There are always some that don't want to work and feel the world owes them a living, they usually are the ones that quit and complain. However if you want to work hard, this is the place to be.
Driver/Delivery (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 23 May 2016
One of the worst places I could work for. Employees are treated like a disposable commodity. Money not people was first priority had to work more than at other companies to make the same money. This company is run by incompetent money hungry non-corporate types. The company shows no loyalty to employees. You are a disposable commodity, lack interpersonal skills. I wouldn't recommend this position to anyone. The initial training you get is very basic and you are given a book to review to help. However, the processes and rules change on a daily basis making the training almost useless. The worse part was that you never know what you are making because they don't tell you how much your earn per trip, and that is how you earn money here. So you have to wait until you pay day to find out what you made. Then there are deductions for the gas that you purchased with their gas card, deductions their logo, deduction for their satellite, deductions for the sticker they put on your vehicle and a bunch of other deductions than you never know. Then, the next pay period they deduct more than you made so that now you owe them money, at this point you realize that you will never be able to be rewarded for any of the work that you did, the system is designed so that the drivers starve and go broke, while the company makes millions.
I do not recommend this job to anyone looking for a career this is not the place for you.

Get a load offer from dispatch over the satellite.Send a message to accept the load. They send the particulars such as weight and amount.Pick up point, drop off point, contacts etc.Fax or scan paperwork.Send messages to dispatch each step of the way.Wait for customs clearance.Driving is the best part of the job.The hardest part of the job is waiting for a load, or waiting for customs clearance.Overall it's a good job, but there is not enough work to go around.
