The management team is good the mechanics are decent all the units are pretty decent as long as the operators maintain the equipment look after it if you have any issues on the road they have a road mechanic that will come out and get you rolling again overall all the guys are pretty good

Management are two faced.

Expect zero training and to be put in dangerous situations on a regular basis. All employees who had time off injuries or light duty injuries were let go within 6 months of returning bacto work.

They make you try to feel lucky just for offering less than competitors are offering. Management isn't organized. You will feel like you need to find another job. So maybe just do that?

Before you take the job make sure that they send you your job offer what your wages are going to be and ask all the right questions. Get the answers in an email or on paper. This guys word means nothing. Company housing is a joke. A crummy a little apartment no locks on the bedroom doors nothing to cook with or clean with.

Poor equipment

Very poor equipment, poor maintenance, expect to drive old dirty poorly maintained equipment. Your designated tractor will spend most of the time in the shop whilst you get bumped from bad truck to bad truck pulse you are expected to sleep in other peoples dirt, the pay is good and you will do well financially.

Not the worst place to work!

I worked at troyer for almost two years on tank side, it's mayhem quite honestly and it never seems to stop. Three different managers, 5 different dispatchers, but somehow they still have the same issues and problems it's astonishing! I was promised it would change but that information came from someone who littlerally sustained those issues for a year, but maybe it will get better.vac side is nice and stable and much better to work for good manager and dispatchers!The shop mechanics are very good aswel, but extremely busy all the time.Overall I had a pretty good experience with troyer, just wish they gave people who have been around a while a little more respect. Expect to earn around 35 a hour without overtime with tank.

Good company even during hard times

I have worked a Troyer a long time. They are good people who do their best even when things are quiet. They expect people to work hard so if you are a slacker or whiner, better keep looking. Don't listen to all the BS from the guys from GP and GC who got laid off from COVID. BC runs a really good operation and there is lots of work. Do your job right and you will set for a long time.

Awful experience

Poor management, dirty crew houses, and all about competition if you don’t mind kissing managements a** everyday you should do fine, I flew across country promised an operator position that never did happen was put in a hotel for a week with no work eating takeout at my own expense, basically everything that was just promised never happened and they also encourage lying on your log all around worst experience I’ve ever had with any company
