Currently our sick & time off policy is consistent with the basic requirement of employment in Ontario.
This depends on which department you're a part of.
-Office Staff are 8-4:30
-Engineering Staff are 6-2:30 or 8-4:30 or anywhere in between as long as you get your hours in
-Shop Staff are 7-3:30
-Millwright Crew don't have set hours; they are always on the road and their work schedule depends on the project
Long work hours.
This is obviously very dependent on which job you're an applicant for. For myself (a designer), they asked me to speak about my experience:
-within the industry
-working with stainless steel in its various forms
-working on turnkey projects
-working as a team
I was hired a couple years ago, so I can't confirm the accuracy of my answer today, but the recruiter hasn't changed.
I was contacted over the phone, asked some basic questions, and an interview was scheduled 2 days later. After the interview they contacted me the same day and offered me the position. I accepted with a start date 2 weeks away. It was the fastest hiring experience I've ever had.
