Good company to start with

Good place for a first job out of university. Senior team members regularly work 7 days a week and never take time off so be sure to set expectations about how much overtime you're willing to give. Management is very knowledgeable but don't expect to learn much unless you ask questions.

Paid well for my level but incredibly stagnant and outdated processes.

So you are paid well for the level of work you are doing. They will give you full benefits and everything. The work is very dry, repetitive, and outdated. You will be rummaging through paper files. The managers are incompetent and pick favourites and they dont know basic skills like Excel that could make the job easier for everyone.

Welcoming coworkers and thoughtful management

Travelers is a great place to work, especially if you are starting out in the insurance industry. The work environment is very flexible, inclusive and supportive.
