Transit Bus Operator (Current Employee) - Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC - 22 October 2020
I am newbie. So far it's good.. pay is an issues as we are livin in lower mainland... they pay good but tax and deductible are so high it takes 1k from one paycheck.. just under 4k after tax a month.. most of the drivers hits on OT .. which seems to be no more.. in past 2 years .. hope thinks will get better.. if seniority goes up, have better flexibility on work that we could sign. Have to give atleast 2 to 3 years to see thinks getting better.. pay wise and work wise..
Pros
It varies according to people.
Cons
No break .. that means, seat is gonna be as hot as your a.s.s..

Project Manager (Former Employee) - New Westminster, BC - 19 June 2020
Mean employees and management who continuously badmouth about each other, will never leave a chance to run you down (with others). Job is stressful and no matter how much you work/achieve or how skillful you are, you will never be appreciated.

Business Systems Analyst (Current Employee) - New Westminster, BC - 17 March 2020
Good benefits package.
Work environment could be better, managers in leadership roles are not equipped to lead a team of highly qualified employees. No accountability for employees to do their job, poor training and support.

Senior consultant (Current Employee) - New Westminster, BC - 13 April 2018
You genuinely work with great people and that's what probably keeps everyone.
Opportunity to complete some great work. Participate in different initiatives to really make a difference within the community/lower mainland.
Lack of cohesiveness within the team. You feel almost on your own the entire time.
- Very corporate environment, throughout majority of the subsidiaries. Oldschool corporate

The experience has been disappointing with Translink, since the company is very disorganized with rude people. The only thing I liked from Translink is the work.

Productive and diverse workplace.
Assistant Engineer (Former Employee) - New Westminster, BC - 1 June 2016
Diversity in the working environment and availability of new learning opportunities at work every day. Working at TransLink in a diverse environment is itself a journey that helps one learn more than he would do in any other company
