Lots to learn, however compensation can leave you wanting
Experience can really depend on your store manager. My manager at the time was amazing, ready to coach us and help us improve our skills in sales. However the better you become in sales you'll feel that compensation isn't enough, and the bonus structure is fairly difficult to achieve, even for top sales consultants. Feels like i’ve worked myself backwards
Job is minumum wage and provides a heavy work load. Tom Harris used to pay upwards of $22/hr pre-2020, but have steadily declined to an average around $18/hr in 2023. My position used to be a great job that I took a lot of pride in but the company has made it absolutely dreadful to even show up to work.
