Its not bad just not a place for a career. You can get by.Its just a job. There is no appreciation and sometimes people that do not perform well rip the rewards. Its totally unfair.

unorganized and lacking skillful employees and management
SWAMPER (Former Employee) –  Burnaby28 September 2014
unorganized morning, more often then not there are changes in the work schedule, get to the job and at least half the time were not properly informed of what was needed to do the job, or not properly equip with the right tools for the job. the "supervisors" dont care if something is done right, just fast. payment is always on time though and they did have alot of work, just not much room for wage advancements.

It was a very fun experiance that i will never forget.
Assistant to company driver cross-country (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON12 March 2013
Working with Allied Van lines was a very fun adventure, i had the experience of seeing all the way from Ontario to British Columbia. The work was hard but the reward was big and well worth it. A typical day at work would be wake up and drive to the customers house load all of their stuff in the trailer and drive it to their new house and unload it all. the hardest part of the job i would have to say is lifting very heavy objects that you didn't think you could lift.
Pros
tips, some times free lunches, good work crew.
Cons
long days, sleeping in a tractor, being far from family and friends.
