It was fun when you got to see the new clothing that was coming in. Grad season was always busy with people wanting to either rent tuxedos or buy suits.

WARDROBE CONSULTANT (Former Employee) –  St. John's, NL5 February 2018
Working here was acceptable, if only due to my co-workers. In general I did not feel appreciated by the company, and knew few who did, even among long-time staff.

Too many unrealistic expectations. Didn't learn anything working there. Management was horrible. No appreciation for their workers. Cut employees hours all the time.

This job definitely useful if you are interested in a career in sales as it will give you the skills and confidence to approach customers and up-sell items, as well as gives you the ability to handle rejection from customers if need be.

Good team spirit and quality merchandise.
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON16 September 2017
Part time Sales Associate. A typical day is helping men customers meet their clothing needs (formal and casual), from selecting, cashing and thanking them for their business. Of course, putting merchandise on the floor, cleaning up, and balancing cash at the end of the day. The store carried high quality merchandise.

The management team and sales staff worked together to create
a happy place culture by ensuring the store was always well stocked.

The hardest part of the job was to tell a customer an item was sold out, especially if on sale. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting customers from all over the world.
Pros
Purchase employee discounts.
Cons
Long hours.
