Timbercreek Asset Management Careers and Employment

About us
It takes Conning to be a successful money manager. Through its operating units Conning Asset Management and Conning Research & Consulting, Conning & Company provides investment management (with a focus on fixed-income products), financial reporting, and insurance industry research mainly to insurance companies. The firm has more than $70 billion of – more... assets under management, approximately two-thirds of which is invested in corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, and US government and agency securities. Conning has offices in New York City; Hartford, Connecticut; London; and Dublin, Ireland. Former parent Swiss Re sold Conning to private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners in 2009.

The following year, Conning boosted its asset management services for the insurance industry with the acquisition of DFA Capital Management, which specializes in economic software. The company expanded its fixed income investment operations with the 2011 acquisition of Goodwin Capital Advisers from The Phoenix Companies.

not a bad place to work
Written by Regional Maintenance Associate (Former Employee) from London, ON on 14 October 2018
as a regional maintenance associate i thought it would be more of capital project to cut down on cost but it was mainly a gofer position.
Being pulled in many different directions at one time is not a good buisness way of doing things.

No direction from management
