Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons Employee Review
Collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
Team Member (Former Employee) - Nanaimo, BC - 5 July 2022
Everyone in the workplace is always very nice and welcoming especially to new team members. Although, the workplace can be short-staffed with last minute scheduling or last minute schedule changes.

fast paced and pushy management
Team Member (Current Employee) - Chatham-Kent, ON - 10 August 2022
Took the job to get some part time hours while at school. Very busy days. Low Pay for what you do--not enough to cover all essentials. NO work life balance at all. Be prepared to be tired when you get home and not being able to stay up late as you'll be tired from working many 6am shifts in a row or one or no days off (10 day stretches) Or just tired from being on your feet all day. Days off are to catch up from mentally draining days from working here... Management is pushy and the focus at Tim Hortons is mainly good drive thru times and non expired coffee even though expired coffee is still served and drive thru time goals are rarely reached. Its mainly about about getting drive thru times and not about good customer experience. Be prepared for a few angry customers, but most customers are very very friendly. Most co workers are friendly, some odd ones are a little nosy and try to ask you personal questions when you are very new..

Good first Job
Team Member (Former Employee) - 2525 Hyde park gate - 9 August 2022
Definitely would recommend this as a first job. The interview was super easy, I was hired on the spot. It is very fast-paced and you get to pick up a lot of skills. Stressful at times, especially if you're an introvert, but just fake it till you make it honestly. Rude customers always, and cleaning the bathrooms was the most disgusting part of the job. they pay minimum wage and supervisors get a dollar more. Depending on your location, the management is either chill or crazy. Mine was chill.
Pros
Free buttered bagel and hot drink and water for your break, but if you're nice to your coworkers they will let you eat whatever, full-time employees have more benefits
Cons
gets super busy at lunch time, you're always on your feet, some co-workers are actual donkeys that have no respect, but you'll learn to deal with it those ppl are everywhere lmao gl

Works if you live with your parents
Till Clerk (Former Employee) - Nanaimo, BC - 12 May 2022
The job is not that hard, so if you can make coffee and clean up after and enjoy having lots of quick interactions with many people a day, this may be the job for you.
Pros
Free coffee and donuts
Cons
Low pay, painful to know no matter how hard you work you can’t get a raise
