One of my favourite jobs.

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
I liked my owner and my store manager. Great co-workers. Face paced job so time went by quick. My store did not have a drive through. I think thats why I liked it. They will make a young person a supervisor if they are strong customer service workers and hard workers. Negatives: They would send you home early when rush hour ends, a lot. Minimum wage. Didnt even get free food while at work. No discount unless you are working.

Pros

Looks great in a resume

Cons

Low pay and hours.

Hit or miss where you work

-usually short staffed all the time-managers never seem to have the right training to run the buisness-you gotta know how to do everything there (including cleaning)-sometimes you work 10 hour days-no benefits offered even if youre full time

Pros

Discounted food and some stores offer free beverages while on shift

Cons

Long hours, sketchy customers, bad pay

Terrible place to work.

Management is terrible, very low wage for the amount of work and stuff you have to deal with. No appreciation for their workers. Unorganized and very stressful

Pros

Food

Cons

Pay, stress

Nuetral

Being in the management was tough. Had to do multiple roles at the same time with out even paid properly. Would not recommend for light hearted people!

Okay

Decent if it's your first job. It's a very fast pasted environment and can get stressful at times dealing with many different kinds of people. Most co-workers were friendly, but management was unprofessional at times towards staff including very questionable and uncomfortable comments made.

Ok for a first job

This job is good for if you are new to the area or as a first job, but not as something long term. The management did not care to do anything about harassment in the work place, they used staff as supervisors/trainers without the proper pay. The discount is only for while you work and just covers taxes - and is not applicable to all items on the menu. The list of cons about this role is much larger than the list of pros.

Pros

Ability to move up in the company

Cons

They do not care about their staff

Its a job

Depending on the owner of tim hortons depends on how good the job is. I have worked for super good owners and I have worked for horrible ones.

It is a very fun place to work and very friendly

All the staff and management are great people to work with. At least once a month we get new items to our menu. So you learn how to do what is needed for the new item. I love helping people and enjoy seeing them come in and have a coffee . Some of them will ask how i am doing and i will ask them the same thing.

Pros

We do get a discount on our meals we get it at half price and we can have free coffee as well.

Cons

Some times if someone can't come in we end up staying longer.

You get 2 meey a lot of cool people

Its hard to say if all Tim Hortons are the same as they are a franchise. The one I work at isn't the best I have worked there for 8 years and have never got a raise they only time my pay has gone up is because minimum wage went up. I was off for a bit because of covid and when I went back my supervisor position was no longer available to me and I also had 2 take a pay cut. I really don't feel like the staff is appreciated at all. They want you to work like a dog for very little pay. There is definitely favoritism the lazy workers make just as much as the hard workers, there is a lot of gossip and management has no problem talking about you to other staff members. Having said all that i do enjoy most of the people I work with. You also only get 2 15min breaks even if u work 10 hours

Pros

Flexible schedule

Cons

Pay

Customers first employees last

I didn’t hate my job , but didn’t love it either . Free coffee and one free donut on break ... I guess is a perk .. but customers are always right , even when they are clearly wrong

Pros

Free coffee

Cons

Everything else

Worst place to ever work

Lots of expectations. Little pay. Zero work life balance and it sucks the life out of you. No room to advance unless you want to sell your soul to the devil. Frankly best move I ever did was leave. Don't apply here unless you do not value your self worth

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Every aspect of this job

Supervisor at dorchester

Worst management i have ever worked with. They are quite racist and i guess working at this location is a bad option. Whosoever, is going to apply for this job let me tell you that they are going to pressurized you alot and would not appreciate at all for the work you are doing. Worst option to choose this location.
