There is video training as well as on the floor training. On one of your first shifts you will spend some time watching the videos which clearly show you how to work machines, make food and beverages. Then on the floor, you will be given a position with a trainer although all of the staff members will be happy to help if you ever get stuck on something.

A newly hired Team Member will always be provided with full training through watching videos and then finally working on the floor with another fully experienced Team Member to help them. When working on the floor, they will learn everything they need to know from how to properly make drinks and which products to grab from the showcase to learning how to properly greet guests and making them feel welcomed.

Training is probably what Tim Hortons does best. They have an app and everything that requires you to watch training videos and then complete interactive tests to prove that you have been trained. Furthermore, you have to rate your level of understanding afterwards. Then they actually train you hands on.
