Supervisor in London, ON
on 24 July 2021
One of my favourite jobs.
I liked my owner and my store manager. Great co-workers. Face paced job so time went by quick. My store did not have a drive through. I think thats why I liked it. They will make a young person a supervisor if they are strong customer service workers and hard workers. Negatives: They would send you home early when rush hour ends, a lot. Minimum wage. Didnt even get free food while at work. No discount unless you are working.

mentally draining
Getting a fast food job is your first mistake, but if you’re going to get one, don’t come to tim hortons. It is so tiring and mentally draining and the management is nothing but rude and they never have your back. Tim Hortons is labeled as “fast food” but it’s not fast at all so be prepared to have coworkers and customers yelling at you because it’s taking too long, when it’s really not your fault. If you start working at Tim Hortons, good luck!

My time at TIm Hortons
Keep in mind, I worked at Tim Hortons from the year 2000 to 2010. I was treated fairly and with respect, trained well, made a lot of friends actually, I would recommend it!

Fast past environment
I would not recommend it… to many hours and you only get one lunch with a 8 hour shift. The management sucks. They don’t give you the days off you requested. And if you switch shifts you have e-transfer the person who worked for you.

Typical fast food/entry level customer service job.
Be ready to sell your Soul for the bottom dollar. Obviously the pay is close to minimum wage like every other fast food place and you have to keep up with short staff, high pace and rude customers.
