I had the best time at thyme marternity. the type of customers we were there to assit was really the best. All day I was around beautiful lady about to became mom, I was really grateful to be a part of this journey. Make sure that they comfortable and feeling pretty. the team that I meet there automatically became friends. everyday was different so even a 9 hour shift could seem like a 4 hour. the reason I had to quit was because the company didn't have short term possibility for advancement and I need work when I can learn an evolve quickly.
A good place to start your career and get your feet wet, but not your forever home. Provides the opportunity to try many things; however, this is also because they run understaffed (so be ready to do 3 jobs for the price of one).
Half Fridays all year round, but are strict about breaks, lunches and work hours. Pay is below market value. benefits are average, no RRSP options, but clothing discount is good.
Overall, do it to start your career, but not a place to grow.
