Sales Associate - Key Holder (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 22 December 2018
I liked the people I worked with but the company never budgeted enough hours to run the store properly. We were directed to focus on sales, we met targets but it was always challenging to keep stock on shelves, store upkeep, receive shipments and sell at the same time. The staff/team I worked with were great. I enjoyed opening the store, selling and helping customers. With the limited hours budgeted, it was as though we were expected to work for free. We were always busy. Store location provided no free parking with threats of towing your vehicle if you parked in the customer area. To access with transit, you had to pay a premium to get there because of location. Not compensated in anyway for the extra expense.
Fun team, great store manager and assistant manager
retail worker (Former Employee) – Saskatoon, SK – 4 July 2018
A typical day at work would be selling 2-3 products plus sales talking the customer to buy purchase with purchase products. The work is repetitive. I've learned how to sales talk. The hardest part of the job would be asking the customers if you could have their email and send promotions and the most enjoyable part of the job would be if you sell more than 3 products and if the customer is polite to you.
short hours, they would only give you 1 shift per week
Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Burlington, ON – 22 June 2018
I was not allowed to say no to a shift. I was miserable all the time because I had to be there at the drop of a hat. Was not allowed to say no. My family was concerned for my well being while I was working there. Manager also needs to take care of the people she already has before bringing in new people.
Customer service representative / Stock person (Former Employee) – Vernon, BC – 9 May 2018
I enjoyed working for this company. I learned a lot about Visual displays as I had never had the opportunity do this before. the hardest part of the job had been the dismantling of the stock but enjoyable as well.
Supervisor/Key Holder (Current Employee) – Windsor, ON – 13 April 2017
You must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy boxes. The management is quite nice. I find the schedule to be flexible. They are pretty good about giving you the day off if you request well enough in advance.
