Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Fort Hills, AB – 1 October 2018
Worst place I have ever worked. They have absoulty no supplies on site. Rely mainly on contractors to have trucks and tools. Wages reflect on conditions of area. Many broken promises Safety is last resort.
Bribe with Logan lodge, and you get McCelland on arrival
It was very educational working for The Thiessen Group of Companies. I learned how to enter data, file and track data.
Office Clerk (Former Employee) – Abbotsford, BC – 1 May 2014
I would usually work around a 5 hour day occasionally. I would go in when they needed me and would do all the work until it was done. I learned a lot about filing, and data tracking and entering. Management was very good and the lady that taught me was very very good at her job. I didn't work with a lot of co-workers but the guys I did see once and a while were good friends and colleagues. The hardest part for me was remembering which files went were in each filing draw. There were 5 companies that I had to file for and some had a lot of the same companies working with them so some times it got confusing. The most enjoyable part was I had to be really organized and neat and that's what I love to do.
