this company is joke
fabricator (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON29 March 2019
the company doesn't care about employees, if something goes wrong with a project they blame others instead try to fix the problems and repeat the same problem over again again again.
they claim that they are one of the biggest exhibit company in north america but pay rate is one of lowest.
i worked other small exhibit company, they paid me doubled wage compared to what taylor paid me and much better benefit and bonus.
they try to justify you the wage with lots over time in winter time but cut hours in summer time when they are slow.
very an organized, unsafe place, and there is no career but just laborer
Pros
none
Cons
low wage, long hour, unsafe, unprofessional

Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) –  Orangeville, ON17 March 2019
Worked for this company for a little while. They were great at first but upper management took hold of things and completely changed the culture. Almost every employee had an issue with wages because the pay rate for the work that needs done is not worth getting out of bed for. The co workers were helpful and fantastic when they weren’t bad mouthing other employees or complaining that they had to do their job. Winter was very busy and summer was very slow, not terrible hours and not terrible work. Be careful about promises of advancement as all that means is being certified on forklift so you are made to work harder and more unsafe jobs. The warehouses are in deplorable conditions and the dust and garbage that piles up is also a lot. A lot of horrid jobs to do before you get looked at for any sort of advancement in the company. Benefits aren’t great, and you’re expected to burn yourself out. Management didn’t make you feel guilty for taking any time off, work life balance was fantastic as hours were 7-3:30 Monday to Friday and some Saturdays. A lot of language barriers as upper management is Indian and does not understand the words no my supervisor needs me to do something else. It’s a good company for a steady pay check but it’s definitely no career. You will be promised a raise and be told when you’re getting it and will still be waiting eight months later without even any word about it. Most questions are met with a degree of sarcasm and annoyance by management.

General Labourer (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON7 September 2018
You have to get hired through agency working full-time hours but with 15.50 an hour rather than 18 an hour and god knows when they decide to hire people full-time. I liked my co-workers, LC, and the free dinner if you stay overtime. To be honest the kind of work you are doing it's not worth it. When it gets slow they lay off anyone who is from an agency and if your full-time hours get cut. I say it's best to avoid and also it's a game of favorite because there were some from agency getting full 18 an hour.
Pros
Free dinner with overtime, good co-workers, some good managers
Cons
No job security, being put in an agency, certain managers

You're either in the circle, or not...
Logistic Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON13 June 2017
Work itself is pretty chill. There're seasons where you'll have to do OT and invest more into the work(a lot of OT for those looking to make extra money), but in contrast there's usually also a slower season (Summer), which is great for booking vacation and unwinding.

Hardest part could be summed up in one word, "Nepotism". No real loyalty to Senior workers who've put years into the company. Be prepared to watch people who've only worked 6 months get promoted twice while people who work for 9 years get set aside. Those numbers are NOT exaggerated by the way. Watched people quit because of it.

You're either in the circle, or not...
Pros
Good work environment, On and off Seasons(good for booking vacation)
Cons
Nepotism

Extremely challenging. Rock hard deadlines
Shop manger, desiner and fabricator (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON8 May 2017
One of the best experiences of my life. Challenged me far beyond anything I thought I was capable of. I learned ( on the fly ) management of staff, machine operating, design and assembly techniques. How to improvise and always get the job done on time, safely and meticulously.
Pros
Fantastic personal experience
Cons
100 hr weeks at times

Project manager
sander/ prep (Former Employee) –  Brampton, ON15 December 2016
Company does well getting big projects, what it is great in times like we have now.
Unfortunately loosing ground now due high operation costs, smaller
companies with lower overhead taking the jobs.
This company could do better and be more profitable, but upper management is a closed circle where inputs and suggestions from
the people do not count.
Pros
Nice co-workers
Cons
revovling door employment

Project Manager (Former Employee) –  Brampton27 June 2012
Early mornings, late nights. Responsibility. Accountability. High profile clients. Building custom trade show exhibits offers exciting new challenges that keep everyone on their toes. As a project manager, you can work several jobs at once and if you're not highly organized, you'll soon be behind the eight-ball because curve-balls are always coming at you! Surviving these challenges requires finesse and honed interpersonal skills. No matter what, the show must go on, so whatever happens, you must succeed, 98 and 3/4% guaranteed! No doubt, sometimes it will feel like you've moved mountains to get it done, but the clients will love you for it!
Pros
good pay. flexible schedule.
Cons
seasonal work means long hours when you're on, slow days when it's off
